Ingredients:
2 lbs. ricotta (orginally, pot cheese was used. It was put through a food mill - it's mostly unavailable today.)
4 eggs separated
1 cup sugar
¼ lb. butter
4 Tbs. Flour
1 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon vanilla
¼ cup corn flakes
- Mix following ingredients in mixer
4 eggs yolks
1 cup sugar
¼ lb. Butter melted but not hot
4 tablespoons of flour
- Add ricotta cheese plus
1 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon vanilla
- Beat egg whites and add
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Butter spring form
- Crush corn flakes
- Shake around bottom and sides
- Bake in 350 degree oven for almost 1 ½ hours until golden on top.
